Hawk families,
As we move closer to the Thanksgiving holiday, our hearts are full of gratitude for each and every one of you. This time of year naturally invites us to pause, reflect, and say “thank you,” and there is so much to be thankful for here at Hickory Tree.
We are grateful for our incredible teachers and staff who pour their time, energy, and love into our Hawks every single day. From planning engaging lessons and analyzing data, to tying shoes and offering hugs, they go above and beyond to ensure students feel safe, supported, and challenged. Their dedication is the heartbeat of our school.
We are thankful for our amazing students, who come to school ready to learn, grow, and soar. They are the reason we do what we do. Whether they are reading a new book, tackling a tricky math problem, being a kind friend, or working toward their PM2 goals, our Hawks make us proud each day with their effort and perseverance.
We are deeply appreciative of our PTA for continuously stepping up to support our students and staff. From organizing events, to providing treats, to helping with special celebrations, PTA is such an important part of our Hawk family and helps us make school a joyful place to be.
Most of all, we are grateful for YOU—our parents, guardians, and families. Thank you for trusting us with your children, partnering with us, supporting homework and practice at home, showing up for events, and communicating with teachers. Your involvement and encouragement make a powerful difference in your child’s success and help ensure that our campus has what it needs to help every Hawk soar.
As we head into this season of thanks, please know how much we appreciate our Hickory Tree community. Together, we truly are stronger, and together we will continue to help our Hawks shine.
With gratitude,
Ms. Miller and Ms. Vargas
