Principal’s Message: Finishing Strong in Quarter 4
HTES families,
As we begin our fourth and final quarter of the school year, it is hard to believe how quickly time has flown! This year has been filled with growth, perseverance, and so many moments that remind us why Hickory Tree Elementary truly is “the place to be.”
I am incredibly proud of our students and the dedication they have shown each and every day. From the very first day of school to now, we have seen tremendous academic and personal growth. Our Hawks continue to rise to challenges, support one another, and SOAR with confidence. It has been inspiring to watch our students take ownership of their learning, set goals, and work hard to achieve them.
I would also like to express my deepest gratitude to our amazing staff. Their commitment, collaboration, and passion for teaching have made all the difference this year. The teamwork we see across classrooms and grade levels is truly special, and it is because of their dedication that our students are experiencing such incredible success.
As we look ahead to our final stretch, our focus remains strong. With PM3 assessments in May, we are excited to see our students shine their brightest and showcase all they have learned. This is an opportunity for every student to demonstrate their growth and finish the year with pride. We encourage our students to stay focused, continue giving their best effort, and believe in their ability to succeed.
Quarter 4 is also a time for celebration, reflection, and finishing what we started. Whether it’s mastering a new skill, reaching a personal goal, or supporting a classmate, every moment matters. We remind our students that hard work, a positive attitude, and perseverance will always lead to success.
Families, thank you for your continued support and partnership. Together, we will ensure that every student finishes the year strong, confident, and ready for what’s next.
