Introducing the Florida 2027 Teacher of the Year, Ms. Kyndall Brown!

Please join us in congratulating Ms. Kyndall Brown, who was named Florida's 2027 Teacher of the Year and will serve as the Christa McAuliffe Ambassador for Education throughout the 2026-2027 school year. As she travels the state of Florida, she will be a champion for public education, representing more than 170,000 educators and the millions of students they inspire every day. Her voice, passion, and dedication will help shape conversations about education and advocate for the success of students and teachers across Florida.

As a former SDOC student and an agricultural educator serving the Harmony community, Ms. Brown has devoted many early mornings and late nights to build a top-tier agricultural program that prepares students for success both in the classroom and in the real world. Her commitment to creating life-changing opportunities for students is evident in everything she does.

We could not be more proud of Ms. Brown and all she has accomplished. She embodies excellence, leadership, and the transformative power of education. We have no doubt she is the right person for this prestigious role, and we are excited to see the impact she will have on the future of education, especially Career and Technical Education, throughout Florida and beyond.
