Kindergarten in Action!
🌟 SPOTLIGHT ON LEARNING: Kindergarten🌟
This week we are shining a spotlight on our amazing Kindergarten Hawks! In every classroom, students are learning and practicing important rules, routines, and expectations that set the stage for a successful year. We are so proud of how quickly our youngest learners have adjusted to a "big school" and how well they are following directions, moving smoothly through transitions, and showing respect for their teachers and classmates.
Inside the classroom, we've seen wonderful teaching and learning taking place. Teachers are using a gradual release model where they first model the skill, then students practice together, and finally students have a chance to try it on their own. Students are actively engaged, working with partners and showing, independence during their practice time.
Kindergarten is off to a fantastic start, and we can't wait to see all the growth and excitement ahead this year! Way to go, Kindergarten Hawks!!!
